Very true ! I am not sure what the moderators of Murhty forum are up to but yes the forum has been hijacked by a few very rude members. BTW, one of their very famous members have been banned from another very popular Attorney forum for rude (and illogical) posts and now happily continues name calling and rude language in Murthy forum.
Good, so I'm not the only one who feels that Murthy is dominated by uncivilized conversations. IV came as such a breath of fresh air because everyone here is polite and agree to disagree in a civil manner.
BTW is that famous member "J***f"....lol. He's been getting bashed at Murthy a bit too lately. He's like a schoolyard bully who just enjoys pouncing on people and giving unnecessary gyan.

Hi Kitiara,
Ive had a look at your animation, and Ive got the size down roughly another 2k.
What I did was I opened up the animation in fireworks and exported/optimised each layer, then I reopened each image and put them back on the canvas which I then trimmed to match your layers.
What you could try is to only use photoshop for the image work and apply the text from fireworks, I'm not sure if this would make much of a difference but it might reduce it a further couple of k.:bandit:

I think you are in H1 status now. When your Passport is stamped with H4 then your status will be changed to H4. If you want to work again then you need to change again to H1 with change of status

Regarding Status letter, I have seen students applying like this and getting query later. What do you say about the students graduating in May (who files like me with OPT card and status letter) and applying for H1 in April?
You can postpone your graduation but you need to have completed all your credit hours and thesis work if any before you can apply on the master's degree quota. That is what people use their status letters for, to tell the USCIS that they have completed all degree requirements but will graduate later. In your case, since you haven't finished your degree requirements and will not do so by the time you apply for your H1B, the status letter is of no use.

Your employer should contact VSC immediately using the contact channels set up for premium processing cases (I believe they have dedicated email addresses and telephone numbers for premium processing).

I was working with Employer-A till 30/Nov/08 and then filed H1 transfer with employer-B. I started working with Employer B on Dec/08/08 as we received the receipt.
My H1B visa transfer with Employer-B was denied on Mar/02/2009 as the contract between Employer-B and Client was not signed by Client.
My current H1B transfer is denied and previous H1B and I-94 is expired.
Current H1B transfer:
Start date: Nov-21-08,
RFE received: Dec-30-08,
RFE responded: Feb-06-09
RFE expiry date: Feb-10-09
Received Denial: Mar-02-09.
Previous H1B with Employer-A expired: Jan-31-09.
I-94 expired: Feb-10-2009.
What are my options? I believe that I am out of status since Mar/02/09 (Denial date). Is there any way that I can stay on H1 status in US? I think H1 transfer is not possible as my current H1 is denied and previous H1 is expired. Can anyone confirm?

If you are able to get the contract signe by your end client, you can appeal. Untill the final decision comes you would be in status. Otherwise you are already out of status. So might leave sooner. Also talk to attorney and update here. It might be useful for people who are in the same situation.

I checked online for my daughter's 485 and it shows approved and document(possibly GC):eek: mailed on 12 Jan. But my status shows RFE stage. Another interesting thing is my daughter got fingerprinting for Jan 15. She has already done fingerprinting with us in Dec 07. Even if it was to be approved for my daughter how it can happen that she goes for FP on 15 Jan and they mailed document. I dont know what is going on. Any suggestions?

Hello All,
My I485 was filed at TSC and received date is July 26,2007 and notice date is sept 19,2007. MY EAD and AP and other finger prints are done after two months of filed. My priority date (Jun10, 2003) is current for last two months and it is going to retogress after this month end.There is no update for I485 for me and my wife. Now processing times for TSC shows they are working on Aug 08, 2007 filers. In this case cane youguys advice me on following things?
1. Is it good to take Info pass appointment and go for office before end of this month (as it is going to retrogress) and find out status? Before info pass do i need to get any other enquiry?
2. Processing dates for TSC-I485 shows Aug 08, 2007. Is this date recevied date or I485-Notice date?
3.Does Info-pass enquiry cause any negative effects on my I485 processing?
4. Any other guys in the same boat and what you guys are doing?
I really appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance for your good work.

When they extend your h1 they give you new I94. If you go to your home country and reenter on the old visa , you get a new I94 valid until june30 only from port of entry. My lawyer cautioned me about this once because your latest I94 (short validity) may be the valid one. I am not sure about this but I remember getting cautioned about traveling while H1B extension application is pending. I had to have my H1 approval mailed to me and show the new extension at the port of entry so that I get a valid I94 with new valid date.
Talk to an Attorney when in doubt.
